THE GARDEN GIMLET

Enjoy a fresh take on a traditional gimlet cocktail. This gin-based drink is infused with fresh cucumber and basil.


INGREDIENTS (Makes 1 cocktail)
2 oz gin
3 cucumber slices
1 - 2 basil leaves
½ oz lemon juice
½ oz simple syrup


INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake and double strain into a coupe glass or over ice in a rocks glass. OH


To make a simple syrup:
Combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water in a saucepan over medium heat. Heat until sugar is dissolved. Cool, then pour into a glass jar and refrigerate until needed.
