DIY Bathtub Tray

Long soaks in the tub are a luxury made even better with a tray to keep everything you need within reach. Here’s a simple do-it-yourself tray for bath time.
Materials
Plank of wood six inches wide and approximately four-feet long
Tape measure
Pencil
Sandpaper, fine
Wood glue
Screws
Drill and bits
Saw (or have your lumber yard cut)
2 handles with screws
Paint or stain
Paintbrush
Varathane or sealer
How-To
Measure width of tub interior and exterior.
Cut wood to exterior measure plus three inches.
Cut two 1 ½-inch pieces of wood from the end of board. These will become braces for underside of tray.
Sand wooden pieces and paint or stain.
Attach braces to bottom of tray to fit interior tub measurement.
Drill holes and attach handles close to each end of the tray.
Paint a message.
Coat with sealer. OH
