Stamped Tea Towels & Napkins

Create a custom tea towel or set of napkins with a stamp and ink.

TOOLS AND MATERIALS

Blank tea towels and/or napkins (cotton or linen work best)

Permanent ink pad in a colour of your choice

Rubber stamp in a design of your choice

Cardboard or craft paper

Iron

HOW-TO

Wash and dry tea towels and napkins to remove sizing solution.

Lay towel or napkin on surface covered with cardboard or craft paper. Decide where to place your pattern.

Apply ink to your stamp from the stamp pad. Stamp towel or napkin. Be sure to apply even pressure on the stamp and hold in place for 10 to 20 seconds to ensure the ink transfers well. Let dry.

Turn fabric over and press with a hot iron to make ink permanent.  OH
