Tag your front door with a holiday message.


TOOLS
Saw
Pencil
Drill 
¾ drill bit
Ruler
2 paintbrushes – one for base coat, one for lettering

MATERIALS
2 pieces of 1 X 6 pine, 12-inches long
Rope or Ribbon
Paint or Stain for base coat
Paint for lettering

HOW-TO
On both boards, starting from the top left corner and using a pencil and ruler, measure and mark one inch in and three inches down. Connect the marks to form a triangle. Cut along lines.

Draw, then drill, a hole in the middle of the board.

Add water to a small amount of water-based paint and stir. Apply a thin coat to each tag so the wood grain shows through. 

With a pencil, write or stencil your design on the tag and paint over markings.

Glue the tags side-by-side or overlapping each other.

Attach ribbon and hang your tags for a festive welcome.  OH
